When most people think Vegas, they think gambling. If that’s not your scene, or you’re looking for a change up when visiting Sin City, there’s still plenty of fun things to do. Here are our six favorite things to do in Las Vegas that are nowhere near a blackjack table or slot machine.

1. Stop by the Neon Museum

Aspiring photographers are going to love this place. The Neon Museum is somewhat of a graveyard for signage from years past in Las Vegas. It’s a non-profit dedicated to collecting, preserving, studying and exhibiting iconic Las Vegas signs for educational, historic, arts and cultural enrichment. Book a tour with the Neon Museum directly – you can also go at night and see 11 restored signs in all their glory.

2. Do a Mini Baja Chase

If you’re interested in speed, excitement, and adrenaline, the Mini Baja Chase is the activity for you. Spend the day in a custom built Baja dune buggy racing over some amazing dunes. You’ll have 15,000 acres of desert to choose from with views of the Strip from the top of the dunes in sight. It’s a tour you won’t soon forget from SunBuggy. We can’t recommend this enough!

3. Visit the Seven Magic Mountains

This is the Instagram you’ve been searching for, and it’s been outside Vegas the entire time. Why not head out to the desert (about 10 miles south of Las Vegas) to check out internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone’s Seven Magic Mountains. Comprised of seven towers of colorful, stacked boulders standing more than thirty feet high, they couldn’t feel more out of place. At the same time, in a weird way – they feel right at home? You’ll see what we mean when you go.

4. Try the NASCAR Racing Experience

How about taking out a 600 horsepower car on the track? If you love to put the pedal to the metal, this is where to stop in Las Vegas. The Rookie Experience will give you training plus 8 laps around the track. For those looking for more, you can also book the King Experience, which features expanded training and 18 laps. Buckle up.

5. Go Indoor Skydiving

Want the rush of indoor skydiving, without the fear of the parachute not opening? The closest thing you can get to the feeling of free fall without jumping out of a plane is at Vegas Indoor Skydiving, located just off the Las Vegas Strip at 200 Convention Center Drive. Slap on a silly suit and some goggles and get to it.

6. Topgolf

Topgolf is one of the best driving range experiences out there. In their signature game, players score points by hitting balls (assigned using a microchip technology) into any target. The more accurate your shot and the farther the distance, the more points you earn. They have 108 climate-controlled hitting bays, 5 unique bars, food & drinks, and some great spots to watch the big game.
