1. Howlin’ Rays – LA

ALERT! WE HAVE A 45 MIN LINE IN CHINATOWN! 💯 @meetjakob #keepithowlinnnnnyall

Posted by Howlin' Ray's on Sunday, May 12, 2019

Yes, you can get some delicious Nashville hot chicken in the City of Angels. Los Angeles is home to Howlin’ Rays, the creation of husband and wife team Johnny and Amanda. They spent time in Nashville and noticed that no matter who was eating hot chicken – and how much pain they were in – they were smiling. Which led them to open this little piece of heaven. An absolute must-visit when you’re in LA.

2. Mother Clucker – Kansas City

“WTC” What the Cluck??!!🔥💯‼️🌶🐔 Almost to the weekend here @mothercluckerkc #parlorkc #mothercluckerkc

Choose from six levels of heat at this relatively new spot inside Parlor KC. You’ll then get to choose your sides, style (wings, more traditional plate, or sandwich), and cooldown (shake or a glass of milk). Mother Clucker has it down to a science. Get in, get out, come back tomorrow.

3. Brick & Bones – Dallas

We like it HOT – Nashville Hot. 🔥

Fried chicken is the specialty at Brick & Bones in Dallas, and they’re serving up hot chicken you’ll definitely want to get your hands on. There are also some incredible cocktails on the menu to wash down your plate of spicy goodness. We’d recommend the Lit Chickens or the Huckleberry Hound.

4. The DownLow Chicken Shack – Vancouver

Nashville hot chicken north of the border? You bet. The DownLow Chicken Shack reminds us quite a bit of Howlin’ Rays – they’re serving up some of the finest sandwiches outside of Tennessee. Bring your appetite. Amongst our team this was easily the #1 voted hot chicken shop above the 49th parallel.
