Finding a good rental car company has its challenges. Anyone who’s traveled internationally knows this is true. It can often seem like at the exact moment you need things to start going right, your rental car company will let you down.
“We’re out of automatic transmissions.”
“We’re out of sports utility vehicles. All we have left is this compact.”
“We’re out of compacts. You’ll have to upgrade.”
We’ve heard it all. That being said, according to JD Power and Associates, these are the car companies you can trust the most not to say these kinds of things to you when you’re hitting the road on vacation or on a business trip.

This is the second year in a row Hertz has taken top spot on the list.
JD Power looked at responses from 7,364 business and leisure travelers who rented a vehicle at an airport location from August 2019 through August 2020. Here’s a link to their study and results.
