Sometimes to make it through yet another rainy Seattle day, you need to grab a bowl of hot, delicious soup. If you’re a ramen lover, Kizuki Ramen is the spot for you. This Seattle-classic has now expanded to three locations across the city. People love Kizuki for its authentic Japanese ramen. The chef uses an ancient method of roasting the bones for the broth, before boiling, to achieve a deeper flavor. Kizuki also proudly uses exclusively American ingredients. If they cannot find an ingredient in the United States, it’s sourced directly from Japan instead. It’s this level of attention to detail that gives this restaurant its widespread reputation for amazing soup.

Living on the West Coast offers many benefits. One of which is that you can find delicious, fresh sushi at an affordable price. If you have a sushi craving for your next take out meal, Shiro’s Sushi is your answer. This restaurant only uses local, seasonally available produce and seafood. On the menu, you’ll find salmon, squid, oysters, geoduck, clams, smelt, and Pacific albacore tuna all from the Washington and Oregon area. All other seafood is sourced nearby from Canada, Alaska, and more. We won’t lie, the menu prices are on the high-end, but it’s worth it for the quality of seafood you receive.
