Traveling is great, it’s an opportunity to see more of the world we live in, to try new things, eat different food, and experience things we wouldn’t at home. Traveling with friends is great too because experiences are better when shared. Not that you need an excuse to go on a trip with your favorite person. 1. New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is full of soul and full of fun. It’s a raucous and wild time, especially when you’re with a pal and visiting during Mardi Gras and JazzFest. Don’t miss out on the beignets at Café du Monde or the live music at Frenchmen Street.

 

2. Palm Springs, California

Get away to the desert with your favorite friends in sunny Palm Springs, only a couple hours outside of Los Angeles. The Ace Hotel & Swim Club has the best pool, with a DJ that plays on weekends. 4. Nelson, New Zealand

Nelson is filled with local markets, breweries, and art galleries. At the Abel Tasman National Park, you and your besties can go sea kayaking, swimming, or hiking for the day or partake in hiking trips that last a few days at a time. 5. Portland, Oregon

The quirky and eclectic city of Portland is a must-visit with friends. Check out some live music, visit Powell’s, the largest independent bookstore in the world, bike around town, or eat at any of the delicious restaurants in the area, including Voodoo Donut or Olympia Provisions.

 

6. The Catskills, New York

A short drive away from New York City, the Catskills are a breath of fresh air and a welcome break from the hustle and bustle. In the warmer months, head out for a hike at the Kaaterskill Falls.
